Direct answer

Most Irish agencies that publish AEO prices serve smaller and local businesses: audits from €299 to €1,250 and monthly plans from about €700 to €1,500. UK agencies that serve mid-market companies charge about £2,000 to £6,000 a month. HelloWorld is priced for established companies, at the lower end of that mid-market band: an audit from €2,950, a 90-day programme from €7,500 to €15,000 and a retainer from €2,450 a month. The difference is what is included, set out below. We are one of the agencies compared, and every fact about another agency comes from its own website, read on 28 October 2026.

How we compared them

We listed the agencies that AI assistants and independent lists name when someone asks for an AEO or AI search agency in Ireland. Four were named by ChatGPT in October 2026 (ePresence Digital Marketing, CNS Media, BeaconSites and Neon Digital), eight by Google's AI Overviews for shortlist questions such as "AEO agency Ireland", and three by Shoptank's list of AEO agencies in Ireland (opens in a new tab) (ePresence, Riordan SEO and BeFound).

For each agency we read its own AI search page and pricing page. We report what it publishes, not what an AI assistant said about it, because the two differ: in our test ChatGPT named Neon Digital packages and prices that do not match Neon's own page, and described CNS Media, whose office address is in England, as an Irish agency.

This is not a ranking. None of these agencies, ourselves included, publishes independently verified AEO results yet, so nobody can honestly claim to be the best. If anything here about your agency is wrong or out of date, email hello@helloworld.ie and we will correct it.

Smarketing Cloud also appears in Google's AI answers for these questions. It sells software, not an agency service: its AEO tracking tools come with its Professional plan at €899 a month and its Enterprise plan at €1,499 a month (Smarketing Cloud pricing (opens in a new tab)). Brand Depot's AI search page did not load when we checked, so its row comes from its home page.

Where the prices sit

Three bands show up once you line the published prices up.

  • Fixed packages for small businesses: €299 to €795 for an audit or a set-up, as BeaconSites and Neon Digital publish. Good value when the job is a local business that needs to be found.
  • Irish monthly retainers: about €700 to €1,500 a month (Irish Web Studios, New Era Digital, Brand Depot, BeFound SEO, Riordan SEO's SEO plans). Most add AI search to an SEO service.
  • Mid-market AEO in the UK: Whitehat SEO publishes £1,967 and £2,967 a month (Whitehat SEO (opens in a new tab)). MarGen publishes a £2,950 audit, £2,950 to £5,950 a month, and from £6,500 a month for regulated sectors (MarGen (opens in a new tab)).

HelloWorld sits in the third band, at its lower end. The 90-day programme works out at about €2,500 to €5,000 a month, and the retainer starts at €2,450 a month. We price towards the lower end of the band while our first public case study is written.

Why HelloWorld costs what it does

Our clients are established companies whose buyers compare suppliers before they choose: B2B software and services, building-products manufacturers and merchants, and online pharmacies and health and beauty retailers. For them, one AI assistant naming a competitor instead of them can cost a contract. The price pays for five things.

1. An audit you can check

The AI Visibility Audit scores 30 of your buyers' questions (50 on the extended audit) from 0 to 3 in ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity and Claude. It tests whether answer bots can read your site, maps the reviews, roundups and press the assistants rely on, and ends with a phased 90-day plan where each action has an owner and a measure. Every claim in it carries its source.

2. A platform where every step is checked

Every client works in the HelloWorld platform, our own client portal. The full programme has 63 steps, and 39 of them are checked automatically against your live website every night: your robots.txt, what answer bots receive when they fetch a page, your organisation markup, your comparison pages and more. The platform keeps what it read as evidence, shows a step that used to pass and now fails, sets due dates and sends reminders. You see the same board we do, and a step only counts as done when the check agrees.

3. Your own data, connected

You sign in once, and the platform reads Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 and Bing Webmaster Tools for you. An established AI visibility tracker (Peec AI by default, or HubSpot AEO if you already use HubSpot Marketing Hub) is included in the programme and every retainer tier. The figures that report has no API for, such as Bing's AI citations, are recorded on the step they belong to. Your monthly scorecard reports share of answers per assistant on a four-week rolling average, never a single screenshot.

4. The work, not only the advice

We do the work the audit calls for: account setup, crawler and CDN fixes, outreach to the roundups AI already cites, review programmes on G2, Capterra or Trustpilot, trade press, YouTube briefs, your Wikidata entry, and an answer hub of 8 to 12 pages including honest comparison pages. Retailers also get product feed work for Google and Microsoft Merchant Center. See all services.

5. A method that changes when AI search changes

AI search moved several times this year, and each move changed what the work should be. We keep a dated register of these changes and update the steps, the checks and our own guides when one lands:

  • February 2026: Bing Webmaster Tools adds an AI Performance report, the first count of how often Copilot cites you.
  • 13 May 2026: Google Analytics 4 adds an AI Assistant channel, which misses Perplexity and Claude, so we add a custom channel for them (Google Analytics help (opens in a new tab)).
  • 31 August 2026: Search Console's Generative AI report goes live worldwide, showing impressions in AI Overviews and AI Mode (Search Console help (opens in a new tab)).
  • 4 September 2026: ChatGPT search runs on OpenAI's own index, so a Bing presence no longer means a ChatGPT presence.
  • 15 September 2026: Cloudflare starts blocking AI training and agent crawlers by default on many new sites, so a correct robots.txt can still turn ChatGPT away.
  • 13 October 2026: Bing adds a report of the questions where competitors are cited and you are not.

Every automatic check carries a version number. When we tighten a rule, the platform says the method changed, rather than reporting that your website got worse.

What we leave out

We do not sell llms.txt files, "schema for AI", copy rewritten "for robots", or bought mentions, because the evidence does not support them (what works in AEO, and what does not). And no agency can guarantee that an AI assistant will recommend you. New Era Digital and Neon Digital say so on their own pages, and we agree.

Which kind of agency fits you

  • A local business with a small budget: a fixed package from an agency such as BeaconSites or Neon Digital, or a monthly plan from one of the Irish retainer agencies, is likely the better fit.
  • A company that already has an SEO agency: ask whether AI search is in its retainer. BeFound SEO, for example, includes it in every retainer.
  • An established company whose buyers compare suppliers: this is who HelloWorld is for. We work alongside your SEO agency, not instead of it.

Questions

Who is the best AEO agency in Ireland?

No independent ranking exists yet, and none of the agencies compared here publishes verified AEO results. Judge an agency by what it measures, what it includes, whether it shows its prices, and whether it promises anything it cannot control.

How much does AEO cost in Ireland?

Published prices range from €299 for a small audit to about €1,500 a month for a retainer. Mid-market AEO, the kind HelloWorld does, costs from about €2,450 a month, with an audit from €2,950 and a 90-day programme from €7,500 to €15,000, excluding VAT.

Can an AEO agency guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend my company?

No. AI answers change from one run to the next, and no agency controls them. An honest agency measures your share of answers over many runs and shows what changed it.

Are AI answers about agencies accurate?

Not always. In our October 2026 test ChatGPT gave one agency's prices wrongly and placed another in the wrong country. Check an agency's own website before you rely on what an assistant says about it.
