1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the HelloWorld website (helloworld.ie) and any services provided by HelloWorld, a solo studio operated by Bryan Hurley (helloworld.ie) ("we", "us", "our"). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
HelloWorld provides Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) services: a free AI access check on our website, the AI Visibility Audit, the AEO Implementation Programme (strategy, answer content, account setup, and review, roundup and PR support) and the monthly AEO Retainer, which includes tracking and reporting through third-party AI visibility tools.
We do not guarantee specific placement in any AI search system (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, Perplexity, or any other). AI search systems are operated by third parties and their citation behaviour is outside our control. We commit to technically correct implementation, properly structured content, and transparent reporting on actual citation activity.
3. The free AI access check
The automated check on our website is free and carries no obligation. It gives an on-screen readiness score in about a minute, showing whether AI assistants can read your site. Results are indicative and based on automated scanning; they do not constitute professional advice. We retain the right to use anonymised, aggregated check data for research and benchmarking purposes.
Deeper automated research (for example, reading Google's AI answers for your buyers' questions) is carried out by HelloWorld staff as part of a paid AI Visibility Audit. It is not sold separately on this website.
4. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (in Ireland, the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013), consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for a digital service and receive a refund.
Our paid services are sold to businesses under a written proposal and are not normally consumer contracts. If you engage us as a consumer and ask us to begin within the 14-day withdrawal period, you will pay for the work done up to the point you withdraw, and you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. This does not affect your statutory rights if a service is not delivered as described.
5. Paid services
The AI Visibility Audit, the Implementation Programme and the AEO Retainer are provided under a written proposal or engagement agreement that sets out scope, deliverables, price and timeline. The audit fee is credited in full against the Implementation Programme if the programme is signed within 60 days of the audit readout. Retainers have a six-month initial term and then continue month to month. Payment terms are net 14 days from invoice unless otherwise agreed.
Prices on our website exclude VAT. HelloWorld is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged at present. If that changes, VAT will be added at the standard rate and shown on your proposal and invoice.
6. Client responsibilities
When engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate business information through our intake form
- Provide timely access to your website CMS, hosting, and analytics platforms when requested
- Respond to Google Business Profile verification requests promptly
- Confirm that customer contacts provided for review seeding are genuine existing customers who have consented to being contacted
- Review and approve any content we create on your behalf before publication (where applicable)
7. Intellectual property
Content we create for your website (landing pages, FAQ sections, schema markup) becomes your property upon payment. Our tools, processes, templates, and check methodology remain our intellectual property.
8. Data protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You retain ownership of all data you provide to us.
9. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any loss of business, revenue, or profit arising from changes to third-party AI search systems, algorithm updates, or factors outside our control.
10. Cancellation
After the six-month initial term, the AEO Retainer can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Project-based services (the audit and the Implementation Programme) are non-refundable once work has commenced, except where we have not delivered the agreed scope. On cancellation we provide an export of your tracking history. The free AI access check can be used at any time without obligation.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent changes were made. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
